A rediscovered portrait of Hitler's mistress (and short-lived wife) Eva Braun by Hans Lehmkuhl made £8,000 ($13,296) at a March 18 sale at Mullock's Auctions, UK.
The painting was executed in 1941 and was later presented by Braun to Countess Antonia Isabelle Clementine von Westphalenzu Furstenberg - an aristocratic friend with close links to the Nazi party.

It was sold along with an extensive file on the provenance of the painting, which was thought lost in the aftermath of the war.
Hitler's personal register of the members of the SS was another important lot, achieving £3,000 ($4,954).
