A pair of Suffragette medals are valued at £4,500-5,500 ($6,651-8,130) ahead of a sale at Lockdales in Suffolk, UK, the East Grinstead Courier reports.
The National Union of Women's Suffrage Societies was formed in Britain in 1897, in order to secure the vote for women.

Many would be imprisoned for their radical protests. They often undertook hunger strikes, or would chain themselves to railings.
The law was eventually amended in 1918.
Medals like the present examples were first issued in 1909 and are hugely popular as collector's items.
Auction manager James Sadler told the publication: "This really is an exceptionally rare medal.
"Very few of these come on the market. It's certainly the first we've ever handled. We are so proud to have one in our auction this month."
The medals belonged to Helen MacRae, a founding member of the East Grinstead chapter. One medal displays the words "For Valor" while the other reads "Fed by Force".
Dorothy Hatswell, of the East Grinstead Museum, explained: "East Grinstead had a big suffragette movement during the early 20th century - and an equally anti-suffragette movement which was incredibly made up mostly of women."
