A quick look at the antique firearms market reveals this presentation Gold Damascened Colt Police revolver, which was most likely engraved in Toledo, Spain.
With a .38 caliber, 4" barrel, the gun's rips are in excellent condition and made from pearl, engraved with the inscription "Pres. V. Huerta/FrAmb. H.L. Wilson."
The gun's serial number is 523XX.
Elsewhere, the revolver bears engravings of scrolls, borders, snakes, winged serpents, floral devices and other motifs.

Nearly all the gold on the firearm remains, with a patinated blued finish ranging from rich blue to rich brown.
According to Batterman's, it is thought that this gun may have been engraved by William H Gough for General Huerta, President of Mexico.
The Colt is priced at $18,000.00.
Batterman's are holding an auction of antique and collectible firearms on March 7.
