Bat Masterton's Colt revolver could make $120,000

Legendary wild west gunslinger Bat Masterton's 1882 Colt revolver is up for auction at J Levines in Arizona on August 2.

Masterton (1853-1921) made his living as a gambler and lawman. He rubbed shoulders with some of the most iconic figures of the era, including Wyatt Earp and Theodore Roosevelt.

The auction house comments: "Over the period of six years, Masterson ordered eight guns directly from the Colt Factory…

"This revolver is the second Colt Single Action Army purchased by Masterson and ordered directly from the Colt Factory and custom made to his orders."

It's valued at $80,000-120,000.
