Created by the New Haven Arms company, the rare Henry boasts a 24 inch barrel as well as a brass frame and buttplate.
Despite having been constructed circa 1863, the rifle remains in good condition.
Henry rifles are extremely popular among firearm collectors. In July 2011, a very impressive Henry repeating rifle auctioned for $25,000.
Benjamin Tyler Henry designed the original Henry rifle in 1860. The firearms manufactory capitalised on early successes and duly, throughout the American civil war, owning a Henry was a point of considerable pride among soldiers.
Subsequently, the Henry evolved into the famous Winchester Model 1866 lever-action rifle.
A 1941 Johnson semi-automatic rifle, featuring a bayonet and a sheath, is also expected to do well.
Valued at $5,000-7,500, the world war two rifle is in full working order.
Sought-after pre-world war two Colt pistols are also well represented in the present sale. A beautiful 1911-A1 semi-automatic pistol is likely to sell for $4,500-6,000, while a scarce early transitional Colt Model 1911-A1 has been given a $7,500 top estimate.
Guns touted by infamous sharp shooters still reign supreme in terms of value. In September 2012, Butch Cassidy's Colt revolver - a powerful piece of the Old West's mythos - which he turned in during a gun amnesty in 1899, brought $175,000.
