A unique 1873-CC Liberty Seated No Arrows Dime is expected to star at Stack's Bowers Galleries' highly anticipated Battle Born Collection auction of rare coins in August.
The event will feature only the second complete 111-piece set of Carson City coinage ever assembled and the only complete Carson City set to be sold during a single sale.
Carson City, in Nevada, US, is famed for its mint, which ran from 1870 to 1893.
The collection will cross the block during the Rarities Night Auction, part of the ANA World's Fair of Money in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, which takes place between August 1 and 11, 2012.
The 1873-CC Liberty Seated No Arrows Dime, graded MS-65 by PCGS, is the only specimen known to exist.

The much sought-after dime was purchased in 2004 for $891,250 at a Bowers and Merena auction by professional coin dealer Rusty Goe, who later sold it to the current consignor to complete the set.
We expect the dime to achieve significantly more this time around, considering the current buoyancy of the rare coins market.
The anonymous consignor has been assembling the collection since the early 1990s.
The set was named by Goe after the consignor's home state of Nevada, known as "The Battle Born State."
Goe is in no doubt as to the prestige of the auction. "This is the biggest event in the history of Carson City coin collecting," he said.
Chris Napolitano, president of Stack's Bowers Galleries, commented: "A collection of this magnitude comes around maybe a few times in a generation."
Rarity is king when it comes to coin collecting. Which is why numismatists must also take a look at this rare Italian Renaissance coin, currently available at Paul Fraser Collectibles for £80,000.
It is one of only five known extant examples of the circa 1509 Italian Gold Doppio Ducato (Double Ducat), second issue, bearing the likeness of Alfonso I D'este (1505-1534).
Two of the five are in museums and another has a hole through it, making this specimen all the more desirable.
