The John Justo Collection, which features numerous high grade street rods, is to star at Mecum's forthcoming 10 day automobile event in Florida. The enormous, potentially record breaking sale (January 18-27) already has over 2,200 cars consigned and has been billed as "Where The Cars Are".
The current line up features a bespoke, fire engine red 1937 Ford Cabriolet street rod, boasting the original frame.
With a month to go before the sale, estimates have not yet been published, however we believe a price of $100,000 is possible, based on previous auction results.

Having been scorned immediately after its arrival on the market; the street rod is something of an American icon today. Street rods and hot rods captured the imaginations of car enthusiasts across America following the second world war, spawning the drag racing and custom car movement which still remains popular.
