Displaying the racing lines beloved by generations of fans of British sports cars, the F-Type represents something of a return to form for the marque - which has largely focused its efforts on executive models in recent years.
The BMW M5 places second on the list, but with a supercharged 4.4L V8 under the bonnet it's streets ahead of the competition in terms of sheer power.
In addition to being touted as one of the fastest sport sedans on the market, it upholds the company's reputation for restrained luxury - making it likely that the M5 will retain its popularity into the future.
The Chevrolet COPO Camaro comes in third, and is the only non-street legal car on the list. With just 69 units of the distinctive model entering production, its status as a collectible is likely to increase substantially in subsequent years.
2013 was a strong year for sales of classic cars, with the HAGI index closing 2013 at an all time high.
