Ayrton Senna's Toleman TG184- F1 car, which the three time Formula One world champion drove in his debut season, will be offered at auction at the Silverstone Circuit in Northamptonshire, UK in May.
The car was perhaps most famously driven by Senna at the 1984 Monaco Grand Prix, where he achieved second place and first displayed his exceptional driving talent to the world.
Many commentators view that race as the springboard to Senna becoming one of the greatest racing drivers in the history of the sport.
The car, which has been in private ownership for the past 16 years, is expected to sell for at least £750,000 at the auction on May 16.

The auction house's managing director, Nick Whale, commented: "Senna mania is reaching fever pitch and rightly so as he's considered by many as the greatest F1 driver we've ever seen.
"It goes without saying that this will be one of the star attractions at the sale as it's a very rare chance to own a much sought after piece of motorsport and Ayrton Senna history."
The same auction house sold an Ayrton Senna worn helmet for £74,750, and a race suit for £35,650, earlier this year. Both items surpassed their pre-sale estimates by a considerable amount.
Paul Fraser Collectibles currently has a photograph signed by current F1 world champion Sebastian Vettel available for just £295.
The upcoming auction will also feature a 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7, which is estimated to sell for £190,000-210,000.
