It was commissioned by Window World, a US window manufacturer, in tribute to the 1911 Marmon Wasp - the first car ever to win the Indy 500 - and to mark 100 years of the legendary race.
The Wasp's distinctive yellow and black paintwork is echoed in the Stinger, which also features a spectacular chromed engine.
Mecum comments: "Standing today with a collection of signatures from more than 245 of the 274 total race starters, The Stinger has become a priceless salute to a century of excellence."
Four time Indy 500 winner AJ Foyle is among those who signed the car. He said: "I am honored to add my signature to the car and excited to be the final winning driver to complete the collection on the engine cover.
"I can only hope the car's auction brings much needed funds to St. Jude so it can continue its daily fight against childhood cancer and other deadly diseases."
