The H2S04 group wanted to destroy and then rebuild art and literature

The group's name is a reference to their intent to destroy and rebuild art and literature, as encapsulated in founder Simon Chikovani's statement: "I do not even want to know that there have been other men before me."

This would become the group's motto.
