A piece of original Superman art by renowned fantasy artist Frank Frazetta is expected to sell for around $10,000-20,000 at Hake's.
The lot will star in an online sale that closes on November 12.
The painting dates to 1988 and was executed in the style of the Man of Steel's original creators, Jerry Siegel and Joel Schuster.
Hake's president Alex Winter explained: "This was the only depiction of Superman Frank Frazetta ever created. It was a commissioned job to commemorate the character's 50th anniversary."
The lot was formerly housed in artist Kevin Eastman's Words and Pictures Museum in Massachusetts.
