Not UK-based fan Yvonne, however. Her festive season was marked with an altogether more personal greeting from the King...
Elvis's handwritten letter to her reads: "Dear Yvonne, thank you so much for the lovely Christmas card and magazine and a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Elvis Presley."
And, as remarkable as the letter itself is the fact that it is believed to have lain dormant for almost five decades... tucked in Yvonne's handbag.
The letter was discovered as Yvonne's family cleared-out her estate. It is now going to auction at JP Humbert in Northamptonshire, UK.
Experts have since confirmed that the folded letter's handwriting and autograph was indeed Elvis's. The note is written in blue ball point pen on cream paper.
Although Elvis's writing style changed throughout his career, this letter has been matched to his other autographs from the '60s and is believed to date to that decade.
The rare handwritten letter was special gesture from Elvis to Yvonne, who had been among his original fanbase and would remain devoted to the King for her entire life.
The auctioneer's estimate for the letter matches the average £3,250 value of an Elvis autograph on today's markets (according to the PFC40 Autograph Index).
That same autograph could have been worth on average £750 a decade ago - that's a 333.3% growth in value in subsequent years.
So, if we apply these trends to Yvonne's letter, based on its £3,000 high estimate, it could be worth more than £14,000 in another 10 years...
JP Humbert will auction the letter on June 23, with an estimate of £2,500 and £3,000. Watch this space for upcoming news on the sale.
