Howard Finster's Vision of Mary's Angel is valued at $25,000-35,000 ahead of Slotin Folk Art's November 9 sale in Buford, Georgia.
Finster (1916-2001) was a Baptist minister and outsider artist who gained a wide following in the 1980s for his album cover designs for various bands, including Talking Heads and REM.

Throughout the 1960s and 1970s he built the Plant Farm Museum near Penville, Georgia - a four acre park filled with buildings and religious exhibits made from scavenged materials.
Over the course of his lifetime he produced thousands of paintings.
Peace in the Valley of God - a 1977 painting that depicts Jesus riding a dinosaur - realised $37,000 at Slotin earlier this year.
Mattie Lou O'Kelley's Dividing Fruit (1973) is expected to make $20,000-25,000.

O'Kelley (1908-1997) was 60 when she first began painting in 1968, and is best-known for her pointillist works that illustrate her life on her family's farm in Georgia.
Another painting by O'Kelley, Sun Setting Hill Farm, is featured in the sale with a valuation of $15,000-20,000.
Picking Blackberries by the Roadside, a work from 1978, made $27,000 at Slotin in April of this year.
Sam Doyle's Davis, a painting of Sammy Davis Jr, carries an estimate of $10,000-15,000.
Doyle (1906-1985) was a folk artist of Gullah descent from Saint Helena Island in South Carolina.
He worked in house paint on found pieces of corrugated tin and, although well known locally, it was not until his death in 1985 that his work received mainstream attention.
Dr Buz, a painting of Saint Helena's local voodoo healer Doctor Buzzard, achieved $43,000 at Slotin last year.
