Gerhard Richter's Green-Blue-Red looks set to lead Christie's Parkett: First Fifty Editions 1984-1997 auction, which will be held on September 26 in London.

The auction showcases works published in the first 50 editions of Parkett, a Swiss journal of contemporary art that remains highly influential. The artworks all come from one private collection. Many of the editions featured have now sold out, offering a unique opportunity for collectors.
Richter's Green-Blue-Red, an oil on canvas completed in 1993, will sell with a £150,000-250,000 estimate ($235,350-392,250). Signed and dated in black felt-tip pen, the work is numbered 789-90 in an edition of 115 unique works.

Also featuring is a C-print of Andreas Gursky's Centre Georges Pompidou, a 1995 photograph numbered 12/60, which will sell with a £8,000-12,000 ($12,552-18,828) estimate.
Gursky, who holds the record for the most valuable photograph at auction at $4.3m, proved popular at Sotheby's Contemporary Art evening sale in June, when his Chicago stock exchange photograph made £2.2m ($3.3m) and a 169% increase on estimate.
The second highest bids of the sale are expected from a set of four aquatints by James Turrell, named Squat, Juke, Carn and Alta. Published in Parkett 25 on Zerkall wove paper, each is bound in a separate copy of the magazine and numbered 29/40.
