The piece is one of two described as such by the auction house, joined by Melencolia I. Adam and Eve (1504) will sell with a £120,000-220,000 ($194,464-359,568) estimate, while Melencolia I (1514) - described as "that most intellectual of all Renaissance prints" - will follow at £120,000-180,000 ($194,964-292,446).
Also featuring in the auction is another master printmaker of the Renaissance, Rembrandt van Rijn, with his large landscape etching The Three Trees from 1643 expected to sell for between £150,000 and £200,000 ($243,705-324,940).
