Bansky's most iconic artworks, including the diptych Monkey Detonator, will be showcased in Bonhams' Urban Art auction on April 17 in London.

Three original stencil spray paint pieces will be offered, led by Monkey Detonator, which is valued at £70,000-100,000 ($105,723-151,033).
Kids on Guns is another of the original works starring in the sale, with an estimate of £50,000-70,000 ($75,516-105,723). Showing Banksy's political nature, the canvas is seemingly sweet at first, before revealing its darker vision.
Flower Chucker is one of Banksy's more recognisable images, showing a rioter throwing a bunch of flowers. Valued at £10,000-15,000 ($15,103-22,655), the work on cardboard will undoubtedly attract strong attention, with collectors attracted to its fair estimate and iconic nature.
Starring among the prints in the sale is the portrait of Kate Moss that Banksy completed in 2005, which according to Bonhams, "wittily subverts the canvases created by Andy Warhol with an unmistakably 21st century twist".
Banksy's work once again made the headlines in February, when a mural created for Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee went missing from a London street and appeared at a Miami auction.
Presenting a historical angle on the urban art market, Bonhams will also offer works from the leading graffiti artists of 1980s New York. Names such as Taki 183, Futura 2000, Blade and TKid, who emerged from the same scene as Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring will all make an appearance. It was these graffiti artists that first made the transition from the street to the gallery, giving rise to the thriving market we know today.
On April 17 in Paris, Sotheby's will be holding a special charity auction dedicated to Keith Haring, which hopes to raise funds to rescue his mural painted on a children's hospital.
