A Chinese vase bought for £10 ($12) at a car boot sale in Hampshire, UK is expected to scoop £30,000 ($36,879) in a sale at Woolley & Wallis in Salisbury.
You never know what you might find... |
The buyer had no idea of the vase's value until he put it up on eBay, where bidding quickly reached £10,000 ($12,293).
He withdrew it and brought it along to Woolley & Wallis, which identified it as a rare imperial "two quails" vase from the Qianlong era (1711-1799).
