A 1977 Lamborghini Countach LP400 "Periscopio" is among the highlights of RM Auctions' February 4 sale in Paris, with a valuation of $1.1m-1.4m.
The legendary model featured some one of the most radical coachwork of its era, a design that has proven hugely influential on the development of modern sports cars.

As RM puts it: "To many enthusiasts and automakers, concept cars are considered a tease, and nothing more…
"Far too often, concepts with radical, show-stopping designs do not make their way to production, halted by the bean counters in fear that the costs will be far too great.
"Certain styling cues might see the light of day further down the road, but seldom does an entire automobile make its way from concept to production largely intact. This is not so with the Lamborghini Countach."
The value of the Countach jumped significantly in 2014, up 175% from around $200,000 to an average of $750,000.
A 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 Lightweight Sports is also likely to sell well, with a valuation of $1m-1.4m.
The model is the best classic car investment of the past 10 years, according to the Telegraph newspaper, achieving a 669% increase in value since 2004.
