British East Africa 1895 (9 July) 2½a black/bright yellow, type 6 handstamp, neatly cancelled by large part Lamu circular date stamp, dated 'JY 25 95', SG36.
A very fine used example, with only one short perforation and scarce with this postal cancellation.
A rare stamp as only 4,020 were originally issued.
