Northern Nigeria 1910-11 set of 11 to 10s, Watermark MCA, overprinted 'SPECIMEN', SG28s/39s.
A fine mint set with large part original gum to original gum. The odd minor blemishes, as to be expected, and still an attractive set with fresh colours.
A scarce King Edward VII set, particularly in such fine condition.
"SPECIMEN" examples were used solely by postal administrations for reference purposes to help spot any attempted forgeries.
