Mauritius 1848-59 'POST PAID' 2d deep blue, early impression (close to earliest) on medium yellowish paper, position 6 on sheet, SG9.
Good margins and very lightly cancelled by large circle of bars which barely obtrudes on any part of the design. Insignificant wrinkles mentioned for accuracy, nevertheless a beautiful stamp of rare quality.
