Ceylon 1862 5d lake-brown, no watermark, perforations 13, SG40.
A fine and fresh mint example with large part original gum and with lovely colour. Typical centring for this issue, but far above average for this stamp.
This stamp is rarely found in mint condition.
Accompanied with a Sergio Sismondo certificate of authenticity (2007).
