A model of Star Trek's USS Enterprise is valued at $25,000-30,000 ahead of a sale at Propworx.
The lot will lead a May 30 auction in Los Angeles.
The prop is seen at the climax of Star Trek: Generations |
It's around 12 feet across and appears in the 1994 film Star Trek: Generations, when it's seen crash landing on a planet.
The auction house explains: "The saucer was mounted on a motion control model mover at ILM's studios and filmed against a blue screen background to create the scenes of it hurdling through space, and was then filmed being propelled on a hidden track across a 40' x 80' miniature landscape set of Veridian III to capture its final descent through the lush and heavily forested terrain on that planet.
"Truly an exquisite piece of Star Trek history that symbolizes the final moments of service of Captain Picard's famous Galaxy Class starship."
Other lots in the sale include a rare Klingon Disrupter from Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1993).
It appears throughout the film and is offered with an estimate of $2,000-3,000.
