Description

Spanish artist (1881-1973), Picasso is considered one of the forefathers of Modern Art. Although more commonly known for his Cubist body of work, in later life Picasso focussed more intensely on the graphic arts. He produced simplified, colourful drawings using basic materials such as crayon and pencil.

We have a high quality colour lithograph of "Clown et acrobat" (1954), printed on Arches paper. Signed "Picasso" in pencil to the lower border and numbered 42 from a limited edition of 75, published by Verve Editions, with their embossed blind stamp.

The print measures 240 x 318mm and is unframed. In excellent condition.
