11: The Kinks autographs on record sleeve

In stock

Estimate: £50 - £75

A US first pressing of the Kinks’ Father Christmas 45 single from 1977.

Attractively signed by Ray Davies, drummer Mick Avory and an unidentified hand – potentially Dave Davies.

Superb provenance. The band signed the sleeve after a US concert at the University of Rochester’s Palestra Theatre on December 8, 1977. Upon leaving the venue, the consignor and some friends helped free the band’s van from heavy snow. The band signed the single as a token of thanks.

The sleeve is in excellent condition with some light ring impressions.
