    A superb unmounted original gum left hand marginal block of four with black, blue, bistre and reddish brown omitted, offered with normal block for comparison.

    The error results in the loss of value and inscription on all stamps. Also affected are the gull's head, wing detail and water shading; the blue tit's feather detail and branch shading; the robin's wings and legs; and the blackbird's body and legs. The error existed in a cylinder block of eight but was split into two blocks of four in the late 90's.

    A wonderful example of undoubtedly the most spectacular Queen Elizabeth II error.

    A superb unmounted full original gum top marginal example with gold "Face value" completely omitted and the "Frame" partially omitted.

    A block containing two vertical strips of four stamps (Rows 1-2) was discovered with the top two stamps both showing the (gold) face value omitted. The error was caused by the gold frame (and value) stopping at the base of the second stamp.

    A lovely example of this important British Royalty error.

    The Stanley Gibbons catalogue price for a strip of six is £3,500 meaning no premium is attached to the price for the additional rarity factor in being a block of twelve.
