South Africa Orange Free State 1896 (Sept) '½d' on 3d ultramarine, type 9 surcharge (types a-g), complete lower right pane of 60 (6x10, lacking bottom margin) showing the right half of the setting, with the seven types se-tenant, and with none of the second handstamped surcharges (not needed on the right panes, as they were more clearly printed), SG69/75.
A fine and fresh mint complete pane with original gum (most stamps are unmounted mint).
A fascinating item, professionally annotated on exhibition page, with chart of varieties. [Surcharge types present are 'a' x18, 'b' x7, 'c' x6, 'd' x5, 'e' x4, 'f' x8 and 'g' x12].
