A large vintage Union Jack pole flag measuring 98 by 45 cm (38.5 by 17.5 inches).
Signed in blue and black ink by 16 members of the 1966 England World Cup squad, including:
Gordon Banks, George Cohen, Ray Wilson, Bobby Moore, Jack Charlton, Alan Ball, Nobby Stiles, Bobby Charlton, Martin Peters, Geoff Hurst, Roger Hunt, Alf Ramsey, Jimmy Armfield, Jimmy Greaves, Ian Callaghan, Gerry Byrne.
With slight fading to the signatures of Callaghan, Moore and Ramsey.
The flag is on very good condition, with just a small number of mould spots to the lower right-hand corner.
The construction, condition and age-wear of this flag, along with the autographs themselves, suggest it is a period-correct vintage item signed circa 1966.
This is the only Union Jack flag we have ever encountered signed by the full Engand team from the 1966 World Cup final, including captain Bobby Moore.
