  1. Penguins production cel

This production cel is taken from the Jolly Holiday section of the film, where Dick van Dyke and Julie Andrews frolic around with a cohort of dancing penguins.

It sold for $750 at Profiles in History in 2011.

  1. Walt Disney signed print

Mary Poppins was one of the last films Walt Disney worked on before his death in 1966.

This signed print of Andrews and van Dyke is made out to Faith Freeman, wife of test pilot and astronaut Ted Freeman, and sold for $1,200 at Regency Superior in 2008.

  1. Shooting script

This original script was used by a rigging engineer during production of the film and features extensive notes and diagrams.

It made $2,000 at Profiles in History in 2011.  

  1. Chimney sweep coat

Van Dyke wore this coat during his performance of the much loved song Chim Chim Cher-ee, which was awarded the best song accolade at the 1964 Academy Awards.

He signed it "God Bless, Dick Van Dyke" years later on the set of the long running mystery show Diagnosis Murder.

It realised $20,000 at Profiles in History in 2012.

The iconic carpet bag Julie Andrews carries throughout much of the film sold for $95,000 at Profiles in History in 2010.

The unique piece is made from real carpet with a brown interior and is capable of storing any number of items of any size.
