Walt Disney (1901-1966) is most famous for his influential work in cartoons and his globally-successful business empire. He innovated both in animation and in theme park design, and was a noted film producer. He was nominated for 59 Academy Awards, winning 26.

Walt Disney, unusual signed photograph

Amusing vintage matte-finish 10x8 photo of Disney reading Alice's Adventures in Wonderland to two chimpanzees sitting on his desk. Signed and inscribed in black felt tip "To Sybil, with best wishes, Walt Disney."

Double matted and framed to an overall size of 15x13. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Phil Sears.

In very good condition, with several noticeable creases, including a horizontal crease through Disney's face, and a diagonal crease through last name of signature, and some mild silvering to darker areas of image.

Disney's bold and visually striking signature measures over five inches long.
