Elvis Presley's Omega watch to achieve $20,000?

Collectors have the chance to bid on Elvis Presley's Omega watch, which may bring $20,000 on June 12

Collectors will have a rare opportunity to bid on an Elvis Presley Omega watch in a New York auction on June 12.

Only the finest for the King...

The sale will also feature a stunning selection of Patek Philippe wristwatches. In its last auction, the same auction house saw four world records set for the luxury brand.

The Elvis piece is a fine and rare Omega black dial constellation calendar watch, produced circa 1960. Made from stainless steel and featuring a pink gold capped chronometer, the wristwatch will be auctioned with a letter of attestation from Elvis' close friend, Charlie Hodge.

However, Hodge's word may not be all that necessary, as Presley was often pictured wearing the timepiece. It will go to auction with an estimate of $10,000-20,000.

The top lot of the sale is expected to be a Patek Philippe ref. 5016. Described as "extremely rare and important", the 2001 watch boasts a custom grey dial. Custom dials are only available to the watchmaker's most important clients, resulting in very few examples on the market.

Featuring a one-minute tourbillion regulator, retrograde perpetual calendar and Moon phases, the magnificent piece will be sold with an estimate of $450,000-650,000.

A limited edition Jaeger Le-Coultre ref. 149.6.07.S is expected to bring £200,000-300,000. The Gyrotourbillion 1 is one of just 75 pieces in platinum.

Paul Fraser Collectibles has this classic Longines Olympic Series watch, which provides an excellent entry-level piece for collectors.
