Wines from Romanée-Conti, La Tache and Chateau Cheval-Blanc are to feature in Christie's auction in Hong Kong today (April 21).
The event will showcase wines from the finest domains in the Burgundy and Bordeaux regions.
The palettes of collectors are sure to be excited by the appearance of several lots of Romanée-Conti, one of the world's most expensive and sought-after wines.

Hailing from the Cote de Nuit sub-region of Burgundy, the Archbishop of Paris once described the wine as "velvet and satin in bottles".
Romanée-Conti sales will be led by a lot comprising one bottle and three magnums of the holy collector's favourite. Spanning the 2001-2004 vintages, this collection has an estimate of HK$450,000-650,000 ($58,253-84,144).
A further six bottles from the 2002-2007 vintages will sell for between HK$350,000-700,000 ($45,308-90,616).
The top lot of the sale is expected to be taken by 56 bottles of La Tache. The lot features one bottle of the powerful Burgundy for every year between 1951 and 2008, excluding 1958 and 1968.
Considered second only to Romanée-Conti, the wine has been described as "at the very summit of Burgundian quality". An estimate of HK$1.2m-1.8m ($155,342-233,013) has been set by the auction house.
Another collection of 60 bottles of Chateau Cheval-Blanc will also feature, consisting of vintages between 1945 and 2008, excepting 1956, 1963, 1965 and 1991.
The Hong Kong wine market remains strong, with record sales continually broken. A sale in the city recently saw a realisation of over $4.5m, with a record sale of 12 bottles of 2005 JF Mugnier Musigny achieving a 61% increase on estimate.
A 12 bottle case of 1985 DRC Romanée-Conti brought $187,696 at another Hong Kong sale in January. Paul Fraser Collectibles brings you the latest news and offers expert advice for those looking to capitalise on the lucrative wine collecting market.
