Perpetual Breguet is expected to bring $120k

A marvel of aesthetics and design, the 2006 piece will be worth watching in New York

Antiquorum's New York sale is scheduled to go ahead on March 10-11, headed by a Grebel Forse and Audemars Piguet.

Another piece which should not be overlooked, however, is the Breguet 5447.

Featuring the classic pomme-style hands universally known as Breguet hands, and freely distributed subdials in the style of Abraham-Louis Breguet, the 5447 is a minute repeater (it chimes individual minutes on request).

The elegant piece is set in platinum and features a perpetual calendar and phases of the moon, and has been given a guide price of $90,000-120,000.
