Rumoured auction will sell memorabilia 'consigned by Michael Jackson himself'
US auctioneers Gotta Have It! are selling artefacts which, they say, were given to them by Jackson
According to internet buzz - namely the US celebrity gossip site TMZ - a Michael Jackson sale with a difference is set to take place in October.
The twist being that Ed Kosinski, part-owner of auctioneers Gotta Have It!, claims to have been given the memorabilia by Jackson himself.
According to Kosinski, Jackson traded his items with Gotta Have It! The star reportedly "had a thing" for Charlie Chaplin, Shirley Temple, Elizabeth Taylor and vintage Hollywood memorabilia.
The unique items that are going under the hammer will include a custom Swarovski crystal jacket, gloves worn by Jackson on the cover of his hit album Bad, lyric sheets and one of the singer's jackets.
Gotta Have It!'s sale is set to take place on October 6-15, reports TMZ.
Long-time readers of Paul Fraser Collectibles may remember that Gotta Have It!'s past sales included the sale of Madonna's sexy answer phone messages, made for bodyguard-turned-boyfriend Jim Albright between 1992-94.
