Sir Alfred Joseph Hitchcock (1899-1980), the British filmmaker, was noted for his wit and wisdom. He is the acknowledged master of the thriller genre and was an adept technician, pioneering many dramatic filmic techniques. His most noted movies include To Catch a Thief, Dial M for Murder, Psycho and The Birds.

This dramatic vintage glossy photograph, 7.25x9.25, shows Hitchcock engaged in conversation at a table, and is signed in fountain pen. The autograph is double matted 14.5x16.5. Trimmed edges, rippling along right and left, and a small tear to top edge, otherwise in fine condition.
