Video: Milhous Collection highlights - the American sale that went 'viral'

Classic cars, mechanical instruments and a carousel all starred in last month's amazing Milhous auction

"It truly has gone viral. It's amazing what's happened, promotion-wise..."

So says Bob Milhous who, along with his brother Paul and the support of two major auction houses, auctioned one of the world's most significant American collections last month.

In the end, the renowned Milhous collection brought $38.3m in total, with 100% of the lots sold.

We've already reported on the sale's star automobile: an 1912 Oldsmobile Limited Five-Touring classic car.

The above video takes a final look at the collection, a veritable 'private museum' whose highlights included a stunning American carousel and a range of mechanical instruments.
