Jul 13, 2010 - Paul Fraser Collectibles (PFC) has released the PFC40 Autograph Index, detailing the price performance of the most sought after celebrity autographs over the last decade. The PFC40 autograph index compares sales prices in 2000 to those in 2010.

- Average increase of 335.9% in 10 year period
- Average compound increase of 15.86% per annum
- Top performing autograph +1,053.8% in 10 year period - George Harrison
- Neil Armstrong, the world's rarest living signature, +900% in 10 year period
- Most valuable item: £22,500 for a signed photo of The Beatles

Company founder Paul Fraser says;

"The Collectibles Markets are booming with world record prices being set virtually every day. Much of this attention is on top-quality autographs, and historical signed documents, which have become favoured assets for investors seeking diversification from mainstream investment markets. There are currently 200m serious collectors around the world, with the market size expected to double in the next 20 years. This increased demand for an already limited supply market is a huge attraction to investors. Couple that with the opportunity to own, and hold, a unique piece of history and it's a compelling mix."
