This second auction of this spectacular collection is the perfect addendum to the first part auctioned in their last sale. It contains items for every area of collecting: proofs, stamps, blocks, rare cancellations, extraordinary usages, unique frankings and exotic destinations.

This offer is ideal for the advanced collector of Saxony who wants to improve the collection. It also offers great opportunities for those collectors who wish to start a new collecting field from the top.

Unique Saxony cover with the City of Leipzig postmark

A great example is a cover with two three-penny reds from plate III, grades 6 and 9, both with wide margins. A one circle postmark appears with a blue "CITY POST 10.OCT. 11-12" on the small local letter.

The right stamp has stamp additional black marks. Both stamps are in perfect condition, whilst the stationery is partly broken in the folding. There are only very few city postal letter of this kind known. This is the only one with the blue city of Leipzig postmark. It will make an excellent investment

The item is currently carrying a bid of €25,000 ($35,300) and the auction is taking place in Wiesbaden, Germany and online.
