There's roughly a week to go until RM Auctions and Sotheby's joint-sale of the astounding Milhous Collection. The multi-day sale is taking place between February 24-25 in Boca Raton, Florida.
It's no exaggeration to say that the Milhous Collection is one of the world's finest private museums. The auction will offer a vast array of automobiles, mechanical musical instruments and other collectibles.
As we've already reported, these pieces even include a 46-foot custom carousel!
You can view the pieces assembled in accordance with the brothers' meticulous collecting philosophy in the above video, a virtual tour our their remarkable trove.
The Milhous Collection was amassed over the last 50 years by brothers Bob & Paul Milhous. Although it gradually evolved into a 'private museum', the collection has played host to various charitable events over the years.
Now the brothers have stepped their charity up a notch, and decided to share their collection with the world.
Around 550 lots will be offered across two-days, held onsite at the brother's own private museum.
