35 years after his death, the King still reigns over the rock n roll world, and the same can be said when it comes to Elvis Presley memorabilia.
On a level with only the Beatles in stirring music memorabilia collectors' passions, Elvis is now also attracting interest from a new quarter: investors with an eye on diversity.
And it's easy to see why.
He was the world's second highest earning deceased celebrity in 2011, garnering $55m in 12 months, and auction sales for Elvis memorabilia are flourishing.
His Martin-D28 guitar made $106,200 at a US auction in 2009, while a leather suit worn by the King on stage in Las Vegas sold for $120,000 in 2008.
And then there are his many classic cars. Elvis's powder blue Mercedes-Benz Limousine sold for £80,700 ($124,600) in December 2010.
Elvis signatures are likewise much in demand.
Elvis signed photos rose in value from £750 ($1,160) in 2000 to £3,250 ($5,020) last year, at a rate of 14.26% pa, according to the PFC40 Autograph Index.
Currently in stock we have one of the finest Elvis Presley signed photographs we've ever handled. Featuring a rare postcard photograph of Elvis, the star has signed boldly in blue pen.
