Classic Ferraris, Duesenbergs & Gullwings star in Arizona car auction

Ten Ferraris, Duesenbergs, two rare Mercedes and many other classic cars will be auctioning in Arizona

It begins tomorrow: Ferraris, Duesenbergs, Gullwings and BMWs will be among numerous collectible classic car marques auctioning in Arizona, US.

We've already looked at a few of the cars: including a stunning Ferrari 410 Superamerica which, in 1957, was the only car of its kind bodied by Scaglietti.

Ten Ferraris in total will appear in the sale, including an extremely low-mileage Ferrari F40. It was originally owned by Lee Iacocca, the Mustang engineer and Chrysler impresario who - as our regular readers will know - is also a friend of the noted car collector Tammy Allen.

Also for sale is a Duesenberg Model J Long Wheelbase Dual Cowl Phaeton with coachwork by LeBaron, auctioning alongside a 1959 BMW 507 Roadster. The latter has been restored by the master craftsmen at RM Auto Restoration.

And if you're a collector who loves the Mercedes Gullwing, you won't want to miss the two 300SLs that are rolling onto the auction block, a coupe and a roadster.

Other sale highlights include: a low-mileage 1966 Shelby Cobra 427; a multiple award-winning 1931 Chrysler CG Imperial Convertible Victoria with just three owners from new; and an elegant 1914 Rolls-Royce 40/50 Silver Ghost Landaulet by Barker.

The Arizona Auction, held by RM, begins tomorrow. But if you can't make it to Arizona, that doesn't mean you have to miss out on the chance to own a rare classic car.

Paul Fraser Collectibles currently has this superb example of the two-seater 1970 Maserati Ghibli Convertible for sale.

The car was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro. Giugiaro worked on many notable classics such as the Ferrari 250GT and the Lamborghini Cala. To find out more, simply give us a ring on +44 (0) 117 933 9503 or email info@paulfrasercollectibles.com. Or you can follow this link.
