US civil war artefacts offer investment potential and joy of ownership

RR Auction's Bobby Livingston discusses the auction house's current sale, which ends on March 22

To celebrate the 150th year since the end of the US civil war, RR Auction in Boston, Massachusetts is holding a superb auction of period artefacts, which ends on March 22.

The sale features what the auction house is calling the "finest quality Lincoln signed photograph we have handled in our twenty-five years in this business," as well as a letter written by Lincoln's assassin, John Wilkes Booth.

Here, the auction house's Bobby Livingston discusses the upcoming sale, as well as detailing the joy of ownership and investment potential of historical artefacts.
