Actor Christopher Reeve (1952-2004) is probably best known for his role as Superman. He played the fictional superhero in a series of four films released between 1978 and 1987.

This Guardian newspaper is an original prop from the series of Superman films starring Christopher Reeve. The newspaper, which is slightly soiled, as is common with items like this, bares the headline "Sky writing graffiti - Superman blamed" next to a picture of Superman (Reeve).

These Superman films were made in England at Shepperton, Pinewood and Elstree Studios. This prop comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Elstree Film Studios which is signed by N. Harrison, film archivist.

A delightful original movie prop.
