Patek Philippe and Rolexes for him & her are the timepieces to watch at Cleveland auction
Aspire Auctions' online sale of Fine Art and Antiques features a collection of classic watches
This Friday, September 24, 2010, Aspire Auctions in Cleveland, Ohio is holding a sale of fine art and antiques which is set to feature paintings and graphic arts.
However, hidden away among the array of lots up for bidding online are a number of interesting timepieces from some of the biggest and most collectible watch makers in the world.

No watch sale would be complete without a rare Patek Philippe timepiece. In this instance, the event includes a rare Gentleman's 18k Gold Wrist watch from the Swiss manufacturers.
The piece features an 18k yellow gold curved rectangular case with integral curved lugs and a brushed silver tone dial with applied baton hour indicators.
The watch also features subsidiary seconds dial at 6 and is marked in black pigment with the words Patek Philippe, Genève.
The watch carries an estimated price of £2,885 - 3,530 ($4,500 - 5,500) and is the top lot of the sale.
A Cowell & Hubbard Art Deco platinum, diamond and emerald watch is also up for auction on Friday.
This fine piece represents a striking blend of collectible watch and jewellery, with a platinum case and bracelet which is set with single cut diamonds and buff top emeralds on the case.
The watch also features a cream colour porcelain dial marked with black Arabic numerals and the words "Cowell & Hubbard." The time piece carries a pre-sale target price of £1,280 - 1,920 ($2,000 - 3,000).
Elsewhere, the auction boasts a range of collectible Rolex watches for both him and her.

The top Rolex ladies piece is undoubtedly the 18k Ouster Perpetual Datejust watch.
Set in an 18k yellow gold round case the piece features textured gold dials marked with applied gold-baton indexes and the Rolex logo at the 12 mark along with the calendar aperture at the 3 mark.
This classic Rolex chronometer watch also features an 18k gold president bracelet which comes correctly hallmarked on the deployment buckle.
As such, it's little surprise to find the piece has a pre-auction estimated price of £2,250 - 3,200 ($3,500 - 5,000).
For the male Rolex Collector, there is the Gentleman's Air-king Oyster Perpetual Precision Watch.
The piece features a stainless steel case and bracelet, along with midnight blue dial that features baton and Arabic numerals along with box shape hands marked in white pigment.
This timepiece carries a lower target price of £960 - 1,280 ($1,500 - 2,000) but could prove to be the ideal investment for collectors looking for a classic watch purchase.
Bidding for these highly collectible time pieces closes on Friday September 24, at around 6.05pm eastern standard time.
